You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to build scalable, reliable, and performant applications using Python, Django, PostgreSQL, AWS, and other technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for driving innovation in a fast‑paced, agile environment.What Responsibilities would you have?Design and develop scalable and robust software applications using Python and Django framework.Architect and implement data models, APIs, and backend services to support our SaaS platform.Utilize PostgreSQL and other database technologies to store, retrieve, and analyze data efficiently.Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality code.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their growth and development.Collaborate with product management, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.Drive continuous improvement through agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities to enhance our software capabilities.What background should you bring?We're looking for a person with an appetite for learning, and the following core skillset:Proven experience in software development, with expertise in Python, Django, and PostgreSQL as well as a strong understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) are a must.Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.Leadership experience, with the ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior team members.Proficiency in agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment.Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) products is a plus.Work Location Assignment:Flexible/Hybrid - two days in the office in Dublin
