Laois Our client are a growing construction and property development company specialising in high-quality ICF-built homes and modern residential projects. This position is based on a small residential development of approx. 50 units, delivered in phases of 1520 units at a time. The successful candidate will report directly to the company owner. The Role We are seeking a hands-on Site Engineer who can take responsibility for both the technical engineering elements and the day-to-day management of the site. This is a hybrid position combining setting-out, coordination, and operational oversight. Key Responsibilities Carry out all setting-out and engineering duties for the project Coordinate, supervise, and support subcontractors daily Plan, schedule, and organise site activities and short-term programmes Manage deliveries, book plant, and organise materials Maintain quality control, safety standards, and site compliance Resolve on-site issues proactively and efficiently Liaise directly with senior management regarding progress, issues, and weekly targets Keep clear site records and ensure all work meets specification and drawing Ensure the site remains tidy, safe, and well-organised at all times Support the project through all stages to completion About You Degree or qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (preferred) Strong setting-out experience (ICF experience beneficial but not essential) Excellent organisational and communication abilities Confident managing trades and building strong on-site relationships Practical, proactive, and solution-driven approach Comfortable working on a small site with a high level of responsibility Strong ability to read drawings and maintain high-quality workmanship Full, clean drivers licence If you're interested, send over an updated CV to APPLY TODAY
