Job Overview
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing site safety and quality assurance, as well as project schedules and costs. You will work closely with other trades, package leads, consulting engineers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
You will oversee the management of site safety and quality assurance in conjunction with the Safety Advisor and Mechanical Package Manager. This will involve setting up, managing, and closing out safety files and QA files. Additionally, you will assist with managing project schedules and costs associated with your package. You will also oversee material deliveries, plant and equipment, and variations and valuations.
The role involves attending site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, and planning and coordination meetings. It is essential to close out all project items, including O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File.
Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Mechanical Engineering Qualification: The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering qualification or relevant work experience.
• Computer Skills: Good computer skills in word and excel are essential.
• Project Management Experience: Proven record of coordinating and managing large projects.
• Construction Sector Experience: Experience working with a mechanical contractor in the construction sector.
