Job Description
This position is responsible for the supervision, coordination, direction, and administration of technical staff and services in the Department of Engineering Technology. The successful candidate will be part of a small team responsible for the development, implementation, configuration, and support of undergraduate programmes in Electronic, Electrical, Automation, Mechanical, and Manufacturing Engineering.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer relations management skills, a broad-based knowledge of engineering systems and technologies, and the ability to take initiative, give leadership, and work with people.
Key Responsibilities
1. Liaise with Faculties and Departments in SETU Waterford and other services such as Health and Safety, Finance, and Estates.
2. Provide technical and service support for all Engineering Technology Staff in SETU Waterford Campus.
3. Support classrooms, events, University activities including graduation and other regional and national events.
