Overview

Comfort Keepers are expanding our team in Cork. While supporting with various tasks such as personal care, meal prep, and housekeeping, your genuine compassion and attentiveness will ensure our clients feel valued and supported.

Responsibilities

* Provide personal care, meal preparation and housekeeping as part of client support.
* Assist with the client’s morning routine, including activities such as getting out of bed, personal hygiene, continence care, dressing, and medication prompts.
* Maintain a caring, respectful approach that supports privacy, independence and emotional well-being.
* Help ensure the living space is safe and comfortable, including light housekeeping tasks and safety checks.
* Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and reassure them between visits.


Example of a Client Visit Scenario

Your day starts with a visit to a client who is feeling isolated and emotionally vulnerable due to limited mobility and recent loss. You greet them with a gentle, caring approach, assist with their morning routine and provide prompts for medications as needed, while maintaining privacy and dignity. You ensure the home is safe and tidy, provide light housekeeping, and leave the client reassured about your next visit.


Example Schedule

1. Example Schedule 1: Mon-Wed – 5 hours a day, Sat & Sun – 9 hours a day (33hrs per week)
2. Example Schedule 2: Tues, Thurs, Sun – 6 hours a day (18hrs per week)
3. Example Schedule 3: Tue – 4 hours a day, every second Saturday & Sunday – 10hrs per day (14hrs per week over 2 weeks)
