Job Description:
We are seeking a commercially driven Area Sales Manager to join our growing sales team in Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing customer accounts, developing strategic account plans, identifying and winning new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts to maximise sales revenue.
* Develop and execute strategic account plans, promotions, training sessions, and product displays.
* Identify and win new business opportunities with the support of the Business Development team.
* Deliver product proposals and training to ensure clients have the right product mix and knowledge.
* Analyse sales data to drive upselling, cross-selling, and introduce new product strategies.
* Monitor and manage your budget for displays, samples, marketing materials, and client visits.
* Report on territory performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives in regular sales meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Essential Experience & Skills:
* 4+ years of B2B field sales or customer-facing experience.
* Demonstrated success in account management and business development.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of KPIs.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
* Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to work independently.
* Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
