FP&A Analyst (Recently Qualified) – Leading Irish Corporation

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Recently Qualified Accountant to join a high-performing central finance team, gain exposure to senior leadership, and play a key role in shaping financial decision-making across the organisation.
The Opportunity:
As an FP&A Analyst, you will sit at the heart of financial planning, analysis, and business performance. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, supporting budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling, and strategic initiatives across multiple divisions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning data into actionable insights, challenging assumptions, and influencing the commercial direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Forecasting
* Support the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
* Analyse key variances and provide clear, meaningful commentary for leadership teams.
* Review underlying assumptions and partner with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and alignment.
Performance Analysis & Insight
* Produce weekly and monthly management performance reports for revenue, costs, margins, and KPIs.
* Identify key trends, risks, and opportunities, providing insights that drive improved performance.
* Present analysis to senior stakeholders, supporting strategic and operational decisions.
Business Partnering
* Work closely with operational and commercial teams to challenge performance, validate projections, and influence outcomes.
* Follow up on submissions to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency across business units.
* Escalate issues or emerging discussion points to relevant senior stakeholders.
Cost Management & Scenario Modelling
* Track cost performance, analyse variances, and support cost optimisation initiatives.
* Build financial models to assess business scenarios, investment cases, and strategic initiatives.
Reporting Enhancements
* Contribute to the development of improved dashboards and reporting tools, including Power BI and other analytics platforms.
* Support ongoing transformation projects to enhance FP&A processes and financial transparency.
Requirements:
* Recently Qualified Accountant (Big 4/Top 10).
* Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to interpret and communicate financial insights.
* Comfortable partnering with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Remuneration:
A strong base salary and pension will be offered to the successful candidate.
