Onboarding And Offboarding
We are looking for a Lead HR to join our high calibre and friendly UK &I HR team. Our new colleague will focus on Infosys’ employees in Ireland (around 300 colleagues). They will work with cross‑functional teams to drive system enhancement and process improvement initiatives, as well as guide teams on deployment of HR processes and tracking compliance, with the following specific responsibilities:
Manage the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Conduct induction sessions for new joiners to ensure they are well‑integrated into the company.
Oversee the offboarding process, ensuring compliance and a positive exit experience.
Conduct exit interviews and handle employee separations.
Union Management (required)
Serve as the primary point of contact for union representatives.
Negotiate and manage union agreements, ensuring compliance with local labour laws.
Ideal candidate must have current, hands‑on experience with unions in Ireland.
Employee Engagement
Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to foster a positive work environment.
Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to gauge employee satisfaction and address concerns.
Attend to daily employee queries and provide timely support.
Employee Wellbeing
Promote and manage wellbeing initiatives to support the physical and mental health of employees.
Provide resources and support for employees facing personal or professional challenges.
Support To UK HR Team
Collaborate with the UK HR team on cross‑border HR initiatives and projects.
Provide assistance and support to the UK HR team as needed.
Leadership And Meetings
Participate in regular leadership meetings to align HR strategies with business goals.
Overall communication LEAD for UK&I
Adept at communication skills and drawing a robust communication plan
Develop and implement internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
Content creation and distribute internal newsletters, announcements, and other communication materials.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is flexible and motivated to deliver outcomes and with an ability to adapt and be proactive in an ever‑changing environment. Ideally you would have:
A university degree, with a focus on an HR relevant area
5 to 7 years of HR experience in an international organization
Experience and knowledge of HR law & benefits, engagements with unions, policies etc. in Ireland. Basic knowledge of Irish employment law is required.
Ability to quickly adapt and learn, being very flexible and open to learn new things (in new countries as well)
High proficiency in English (both verbal and written)
Results‑driven and orientation and the ability to work in demanding and high‑pace organizations
A strong and disciplined personality
Working experience with large groups is a plus
Experience in the IT sector is a plus
