The primary responsibility of the Associate will be, in cooperation with the Senior Relationship Managers, servicing the banking & financing needs of international Mid-Market clients, deepening existing client relationships and acquiring & onboarding new commercial banking clients.Key Skills & Responsibilities:Support senior relationship manager in management of a client portfolioCall on clients, jointly with senior relationship managers, to leverage Citi's global network, product solutions and market insightsDrive prospecting effort, selecting companies, reaching out and ensuring follow-up, alone or with the senior relationship managerPrepare pitch materials that senior relationship managers use in sales and prospectingWork with regional Industry partners to leverage global industry content for client selection and client dialogueHelp deliver the key commercial banking product set, including Cash Management, FX, Commodities, Trade, Working Capital and Lending productsHelp deliver Citi's global network by working with bankers and product experts around the worldDeliver credit to our client through financial analysis, financial modelling, documentary support, policy and process ownership, working with Underwriting and Risk teamsSupport the senior relationship manager with analysis on capital returns across transactions, clients and portfolioMonitor clients' financial performance and determine if further due diligence is neededWork with Corporate Finance and Investment Banking teams at time of structured transactionsCollaborate with Relationship Associates, who own KYC, client onboarding, implementation, documentation and overall client deliveryTrain and guide AnalystsSupport CCB country head on strategic initiativesKnowledge/Experience:Minimum 3 year previous relevant banking experienceExperience within Commercial/Corporate/Investment banking is desirableExperience in client facing teamsSales, presentation and communication skillsAnalytical and credit skills, financial analysis, accounting and financial modellingGeneral knowledge of banking processesEducation:Masters degree preferredCompetencies:Build and develop client relationshipsEffective collaboration with senior bankers and partnersAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAffinity with corporate finance solutionsUnderstanding of controls & compliance regimeInternational mindsetAbility to operate in a fast paced environmentHigh level of self-motivationAmbition to grow into a relationship manager roleThis Role is a "Controlled Function" Role as defined by the Central Bank of Ireland Reform Act 2010 and Principal Regulations 2011, and amending Regulations 2014, 2015 Job Family Group: Commercial and Business Sales Job Family:Relationship Management Time Type:Full time Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:€65, €98,400.00 Most Relevant Skills Please see the requirements listed above.
