About the Role
Miller Brothers Stone is a family-run natural stone specialist based in Rathnew, Co. Wicklow, known for bespoke stone craftsmanship and high-end residential projects. We are looking for a talented Product Designer to help develop a new and growing range of stone products.
This role focuses on designing, modelling, and visualising stone products, from concept through to production-ready designs. You will work closely with our fabrication team to ensure designs are both visually striking and practical to manufacture.
Key Responsibilities
* Design bespoke and semi-standard stone vanities and other products
* Produce 3D CAD models and high-quality renders for client presentations, marketing, and internal review
* Create accurate 2D CAD drawings suitable for fabrication
* Develop design concepts, dimensions, and detailing specific to natural stone
* Prepare technical drawings and specifications for production
* Collaborate with fellow staff and management to refine designs for real-world fabrication
* Assist with the development of a coherent product range and design language
* Revise and adapt designs based on feedback, cost, and material constraints
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Product Designer / Industrial Designer / 3D Designerl Strong proficiency in 3D modelling software (e.g. Rhino, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Blender, or similar)
* Experience producing photorealistic renders (Lumion, V-Ray, Enscape, Twinmotion, etc.)
* Solid understanding of manufacturing constraints, ideally with stone, concrete, or similar materials
* Ability to produce technical drawings with accurate dimensions and tolerances
-Strong design sensibility with attention to proportion, detail, and finish
-Ability to work independently while collaborating with a hands-on production team
Desirable (But Not Essential)
* Experience designing bathroom products, furniture, or architectural elements
* Knowledge of natural stone properties (marble, limestone, granite, quartzite, etc.)
* Familiarity with CNC machining or stone fabrication processes
* Experience creating visuals for luxury or architectural markets

Pay: €40,000.00-€80,000.00 per year
