We are seeking a Water Resources Professional to join our team and contribute to the management of water supplies for future generations.
* This role will involve working closely with technical specialists to develop and implement solutions for environmentally sustainable water supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
* You will work on developing and managing our portfolio of water projects, focusing on hydrogeology and related disciplines.
* You will be responsible for championing high standards of performance and influencing project development.
* You will undertake and delegate complex problem-solving tasks, including data gathering and processing, calculations and modeling, conceptualization, reporting, impact assessment, proposal writing, and costing.
Requirements:
* You are likely to be chartered through a relevant professional body, such as the Institute of Hydrology or the Geological Society.
* Your experience will include water resources hydrogeology and hydrology, with a focus on low flows, signal and pumping tests, borehole design, groundwater flooding, or water resource planning.
* You will have a good understanding of Irish hydrogeology, particularly karstic systems, and the operational and environmental regulatory framework of Irish water management.
* You will have experience leading project tasks and possibly entire projects through problem definition, data collection, analysis, interpretation, and drawing succinct conclusions and recommendations.
