Executive Head Chef - Five Star Resort | Ireland Red D are recruiting an Executive Head Chef for a five-star resort in Ireland.
This is a senior, influential role suited to a proven culinary leader who wants genuine scope, authority and responsibility at resort level.
As Executive Head Chef, you will be a key member of the Executive Committee, holding full strategic, operational and financial responsibility for all culinary activity across the resort.
From fine dining and relaxed luxury dining to banqueting, bespoke events and future food concepts, this role plays a central part in shaping the overall guest experience.
This Executive Head Chef role calls for someone who is comfortable setting long-term culinary direction while remaining highly visible in the kitchen, leading service and setting standards through action and presence.
The Role As Executive Head Chef, you will: Define and continually evolve the culinary vision and identity of the resort Create destination-level dining experiences that reflect a strong sense of place and heritage Lead menu development, innovation and new concept creation across all outlets Take full ownership of food cost, labour control, budgeting and overall profitability Provide hands-on leadership during service, VIP occasions and signature resort events Build, mentor and retain a high-performing culinary team with a focus on progression and longevity Collaborate closely with Food & Beverage, Events, Sales, Finance and the wider senior team Uphold the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and operational excellence This is a role with real accountability.
The Executive Head Chef will have influence, but also clear commercial responsibility.
