As the QA Manager, you will take full operational ownership of the quality framework across high-value envelope packages, ensuring precision delivery that aligns with rigorous design specifications and contract standards.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Governance: Drive the implementation of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), First-Off-Checks (FOKs), and systematic build-up verifications across major facade packages.
Performance Verification: Supervise critical air-seal and weather-tightness tracking, ensuring meticulous photographic and written compliance mapping.
Phased Commissioning: Direct the site’s structured 3-stage handover lifecycle (Completion -> Snagging -> Sign-off), managing tracking systems for active and closed zones.
Commercial Protection: Safeguard the firm’s contractual and financial positioning through impeccable record-keeping and robust risk management.
Stakeholder Management: Conduct regular subcontractor quality audits, lead coordination workshops, and professionally manage client expectations on-site.
Candidate Profile
Proven Track Record: 3 to 5+ years of dedicated, site-based QA/QC management experience within the construction industry, with a heavy emphasis on building envelope or advanced facade packages.
Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of contemporary cladding systems, structural glazing, roofing interfaces, and waterproofing principles.
Systems Proficiency: Expert familiarity with modern construction management software (e.g., Procore or equivalent enterprise tools).
Credentials: Professional quality management certifications (e.g., CQE, CQM) are highly advantageous.
Mobility: A valid driving license and the professional flexibility to travel and support projects across various European locations as the pipeline evolves.
