Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities in our manufacturing context.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the RFQ process, working closely with sales teams, developing and maintaining key account relationships, and collaborating with internal departments to create commercially viable proposals.

* Develop and maintain detailed, commercially viable proposals that meet customer requirements and contribute to our revenue growth.
* Manage ongoing projects effectively, ensuring seamless handovers to the operations team and alignment with our business strategy.
* Conduct market, competitor, and sector analyses to inform data-driven decision-making and support business growth initiatives.
* Provide regular updates on sales performance and market insights to senior management, informing strategic decisions.
* Deliver engaging presentations to clients, showcasing service offerings and project solutions that meet their needs.
Requirements
* Expertise in the manufacturing or sub-contract engineering industry, with knowledge of precision CNC multi-axis turning and milling being advantageous.
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop compelling proposals that drive business growth.
* Excellent analytical skills to assess and interpret data, creating actionable strategies that inform business decisions.
* Advanced organisational and communication skills, including proficiency with preparing reports, tender documents, and presentations.
* Proven track record in achieving targets and delivering results that contribute to business growth.
* Experience with project management in a manufacturing context, including sales, quality, purchasing, engineering, and resource planning.
