A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Reporting & Budgeting Lead to join a growing organisation in Dublin city centre.
In a newly created role, the Group Reporting & Budgeting Lead will support the Group Financial Director, and the Group Finance team in meeting the group's internal and external reporting requirements, whilst managing the budgeting and forecast process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform all relevant consolidation tasks ensuring intercompany transactions are accurately eliminated.
* End to end preparation and oversee group wide monthly reporting (including P&L, Balance Sheet and cashflows).
* Progressively assumed full ownership of the group's budgeting and cash flow management processes.
* Analysis and interpretation of financial data to provide insights on group performance.
* Drive improvements in monthly reporting and internal processes, focusing on efficiency, accuracy and automation.
Experience/ Qualifications:
o Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA or CIMA) with 3 -5 years PQE.
o Strong technical accounting, financial reporting and consolidation skills.
o Report writing skills (planning effectively, ease of comprehension and simplicity).
o Experience in renewable energy/construction advantageous.
o Working knowledge of Accounts IQ platform advantageous.
o Excellent Excel skills (Smartsheet's an advantage).
