Job Title: Staff Project Engineer
About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced project engineer to join our team and lead the design, commissioning, and operation of biopharmaceutical process equipment.
* As a project engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
* You will provide engineering support and problem-solving expertise for existing equipment and manufacturing processes.
* Your tasks will include developing project scope statements, deliverables, scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance plans.
* You will assist in design reviews, site acceptance, and installation of equipment, as well as prepare and present project status reports and technical information.
* You will also recommend and manage corrective actions for existing equipment and manufacturing processes.
* In addition, you will act as a subject matter expert during regulatory inspections and internal investigations.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of related experience.
* Direct experience with biopharmaceutical process equipment is preferred.
* The ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.
* Prioritizing and adapting to change are essential skills for this role.
