We are now looking for motivated interns to join our Audit team, where you will gain hands-on experience across the key areas and functions of the department.
This internship will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to experience and learn about the different areas and functions of the Audit department.
Key Responsibilities
Assessing compliance with regulatory requirements, financial reporting standards, auditing standards, and internal policies to ensure the safeguarding of company assets.
Supporting audits to ensure that audit practices align with departmental and professional standards.
Using audit and office software to record, manage, and retrieve information.
Assisting with the preparation of accounts, budgets, reports, and financial statements for clients.
Supporting audit work on year-end accounts, including calculations and reconciliations.
Providing administrative support to the Audit department.
Performing additional ad hoc tasks as required.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Applicant must be a current college student or a recent graduate in a business-related discipline, available for
full-time work from September **** – May ****
Applicant must be on track to achieve or currently hold a
2.1 degree
or higher
Previous work experience in a business environment is an advantage but not essential
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively
Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
