Lead Recruiter - Accountancy & Finance at Savvy People
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Risk and Controls professional to join a growing organisation based in South Dublin. The successful candidate will be reporting into a Manager and will be responsible for executing the Risk and Controls Review Plan across group operations and internal functions.
The candidate will support the implementation of effective control frameworks, review operational practices, and ensure regulatory and internal policy compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
This is a permanent role offering strong career progression, variety, and exposure across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and conduct reviews of insurance-related operations carried out by internal teams, intermediaries, and external entities within the wider group.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of operational controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and verify data/document accuracy.
* Draft clear, detailed reports outlining findings, improvement opportunities, and recommendations.
* Carry out both desk-based and on-site reviews in response to emerging business needs or regulatory developments.
* Provide ongoing support to local managers on insurance-related risk issues.
* Track and report on the progress of open actions, ensuring timely remediation.
* Contribute to broader Risk function initiatives as required.
Candidate Requirements
* 3 years experience in audit, internal controls, or risk management, ideally within financial services or insurance.
* Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to assess complex datasets and processes.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously.
* Able to work independently while also collaborating across departments and jurisdictions.
* Part Qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant
* Previous experience in a regulated financial services environment preferred.
* Willingness and ability to travel across Europe as required.
