Key Responsibilities
* Client Files and Financial Statements: Prepare and complete client files and financial statements to a high professional standard, ensuring delivery within deadlines.
* Accounts Preparation and Tax Returns: Manage accounts preparation and income tax returns for individuals, sole traders, and company directors.
* Financial Reporting and Presentation: Draft financial reports and present results of engagements to the engagement manager.
* Staff Supervision and Training: Supervise and train junior staff, providing technical guidance and leadership on client assignments.
* Compliance and Risk Management: Identify and address areas of non-compliance with accounting standards.
Requirements
* Qualifications and Experience: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), with 12 years post-qualification experience.
* Business Acumen and Advisor Role: Strong business acumen and ability to act as an effective advisor to clients.
* Reporting and Presentations Skills: Skilled in report writing and presenting to senior management.
* Interpersonal and Teamwork Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork capability, and ability to work independently.
* Organisational and Time Management Skills: Strong organisational, planning, and time-management skills, with experience delivering under pressure.
