As a Senior Engineer, you'll help shape technical direction, build scalable solutions, and mentor other engineers.

The skills you bring:
6. Expertise in designing and implementing scalable backend services and APIs (GraphQL + REST) in Python, leveraging 5-7+ years of backend engineering experience.
7. Proficiency in developing and optimising data pipelines for large-scale ingestion, transformation, analytics, and real-time querying.
8. Experience building backend integrations with AWS services (ECS Fargate, Lambda, S3, RDS, Neptune, CloudFront, ALB).
9. Experience in building secure, reliable, and performant services, leveraging AWS, and observability tooling (Splunk).
10. Knowledge of Git and collaborative engineering practices to drive quality and consistency.
Achievements:
11. Implemented best practices in security, authentication, and performance optimisation in backend systems, resulting in more robust, secure, and efficient applications.
12. Mentored and guided junior engineers, promoting coding, architecture, and DevOps best practices, enhancing team capabilities and overall delivery quality.
13. Designed and delivered analytics features enabling real-time insights and interactive data visualisations, empowering customers to track and understand culture, performance, and engagement trends. (Nice to have)
14. Enhanced CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure using Jenkins, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CodeArtifact, Docker, and Terraform, improving deployment speed and reliability. (Nice to have)
15. Partnered with frontend engineers (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) to deliver seamless, API-driven experiences, ensuring high performance and usability across platforms. (Nice to have)
