Cafe Manager | Catalyst Coffee
About the Role
As Cafe Manager you'll be right at the heart of the cafe, leading from the front creating great experiences for both customers and your team. You'll keep things running smoothly day to day.
What you'll be doing:
* Running day-to-day cafe operations and keeping service flowing smoothly
* Leading by example and delivering excellent customer service
* Supporting, motivating, and developing team members
* Making sure our standards for coffee,service, food quality, and cleanliness are always met on a daily basis
* Handling customer questions and issues
* Publishing weekly rosters and dealing with shift adjustments
* Daily and weekly ordering from suppliers
What is required?
* A genuine passion for speciality coffee, hospitality and leading a team
* A strong customer-first mindset, with service excellence at the core of what you do
* Previous experience in a management position within hospitality
* Knowledge of speciality coffee
* The ability to make decisions and manage priorities during busy periods
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead teams the right way
