Reperio has partnered with a market-leading enterprise software company seeking a highly experienced Backend Software Engineer with strong .NET and C# skills. In this role, you'll take ownership of end-to-end feature development within a fast-paced, agile environment, contributing to the evolution of a high-performance enterprise-grade platform. Responsibilities:
1. Lead backend feature development from architecture and design through to production deployment.
2. Build and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure .NET Core applications.
3. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following SOLID principles and best practices.
4. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and performance tuning.
5. Work on enterprise software in the identity, access management, or infrastructure security space.
6. Contribute to modernising and containerising components for cloud deployment (desirable).
Requirements:
7. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in C#/.NET Framework and .NET Core backend development.
8. Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean architecture.
9. Experience with multi-threaded applications and concurrency handling.
10. Strong debugging, profiling, and troubleshooting skills in Windows environments.
11. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
12. Passionate about backend engineering and committed to continuous improvement.
13. Demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex features and deliver in agile sprints.
14. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
15. Problem-solver mindset with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Desirable:
16. Experience working on Windows Server-based enterprise applications.
17. Exposure to Active Directory, Azure AD, or similar directory services.
18. Experience with cloud migration, microservices, or event-driven architectures.
19. Familiarity with Windows internals, kernel objects, or advanced OS-level programming.
20. Strong understanding of security principles, identity management, or disaster recovery solutions.
