We are currently looking for aStaff Nurse(RGN, RMHN) to join our team in a Private Residential Facility in Tullamore, Co Offaly.
Job Description:
Provide a continuum of care throughout the house, this includes all Sisters in the residence, assist with all clinic appointments where necessary.
* Promote the health, welfare, and social well-being ofpatients within our services
* Ensure that care is carried out in an empathetic and ethical manner and that the dignity and spiritual needs of the patient are respected
* Report and consult with senior nursing management on clinical issues as appropriate
* Delegate to and supervise the work of other grades of staff within the remit of their role, as appropriate
* To provide and maintain effective, individualized nursing care
* Assist the Director of Nursing in storing, administering, and recording individual medication per policy and Nursing guidelines.
* To assist with any physical aspects of care, as and when required
* Ensure all complaints and incidents are recorded and reported to the Director of Nursing and Manager following the Company Policy.
* Works within the Scope of Practice as issued by An Bord Altranais.
Requirements:
* Register Nurse by An Bord Altranais
* RGN/ RMHN
* Experience in a similar role
* A good working knowledge of English
* Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices
* Knowledge of how to use the equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks.
* Garda vetting is required.
