Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate the kitchen team, overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations.
* Introduce new culinary techniques, guiding the team in meal preparation, presentation, and delivery.
* Manage food gross profit achievement and ensure menu profitability.
* Oversee stock receipt, checking, rotation, and storage.
* Innovate with new products, emphasizing local ingredients and suppliers.
* Maintain a safe environment for staff, guests, and visitors.
* Operate and maintain kitchen machinery safely and hygienically.
* Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with policies and legislation.
* Monitor food safety and temperature controls, recording results.
* Manage procurement of produce and dry goods.
* Ensure proper storage of food items at correct temperatures.
* Handle knives and other equipment safely.
* Foster effective working relationships with colleagues and management.
