Senior Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage full cost responsibility for construction projects, particularly those involving in-situ concrete works, precast elements, and fencing.
* Produce detailed cost estimates, cost plans, and budgets from early project stages.
* Prepare Order of Magnitude Costs (budget estimates).
* Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ), conduct tender analysis, and compile tender reports.
* Draft and manage contract documents.
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of commercial contracts and their application.
* Liaise with design teams to ensure project alignment and cost clarity.
* Oversee post-contract activities including variations, progress measurement, and final account agreements.
* Monitor and control project costs to ensure delivery within budget.
* Prepare tender documentation and support procurement processes, including subcontractor and supplier negotiations.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement cost-control strategies.
* Evaluate and process variations, claims, and change orders.
* Manage cash flow reporting to ensure ongoing financial health of projects.
* Prepare interim valuations and ensure timely payments in line with contract terms.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address cost-related issues.
* Deliver accurate financial reports and forecasts, including final accounts.
Key Requirements:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with significant exposure to in-situ concrete works.
* Strong track record in cost control and project management on complex construction projects.
* Proven experience in procurement, tendering, and contract management.
* Proficient in MS Office Suite and construction software tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ambitious and self-motivated, with a long-term growth mindset.
* Fluent in English.
* Willingness to relocate to Berlin and work on-site.
* In-depth knowledge of in-situ concrete construction techniques.
* Experience working on data centres or similar large-scale projects.
