About Induct
Having safe access to your home or office shouldn't be a problem, yet people get locked out, keycards get lost, packages get stolen, codes are shared, visitors are stuck waiting outside, and when was the last time the locks were changed?
Induct builds hardware and software for Access Control which retrofits onto existing security infrastructure, allowing buildings to be brought online in under a day for a fraction of the cost, while simultaneously upgrading the software into the 21st century.
It was started by engineers & nerds who simply wanted to answer the question, why do I have to wait weeks for a new keycard?
This just led us to even more questions and since then, we've built six different hardware revisions, two mobile apps, three web apps, and raised capital from investors across Ireland, the US and Europe.
And during that time we've only managed to lock ourselves out once.
We're based in Ireland but growing fast.

About the Role
We are looking for a Designer to own the user experience across Induct's digital products.
This role will encompass our UX & UI systems, website experience, branding, & marketing materials.
This is a broad, high agency role which will involve working with our team to help deliver intuitive, accessible, & scalable solutions across our operations.
You'll have meaningful ownership over how our software and presence function and feel.
What You'll Do
Own design across Induct's apps, website, marketing (online & print), & branding
Design intuitive, accessible user journeys with a strong focus on usability and clarity
Create and maintain UI systems and component libraries in Figma
Collaborate closely with the team to translate engineering requirements into elegant solutions
Help to build and evolve our brand's voice & visual identity
Support hardware UX decisions where our digital products intersect with physical products
We're Hoping You...
Have a strong portfolio spanning UI/UX, Web Design, & product thinking
Have solid experience designing digital products or SaaS platforms
Have high proficiency in Figma and design systems
Have strong understanding of accessibility, interaction design, and usability principles
Can think & work through high-level systems while executing attention to detail
Are confident working with leadership & experimenting quickly with your own ideas
Nice to Have
Experience with React/Tailwind
Design experience with products involving both hardware & software
