Due to continued expansion, a leading aircraft lessor are now seeking an experienced legal counsel who has the ability to draft and negotiate sale, purchase and lease transaction agreements for commercial aircraft.The structure of the legal function is that the team will manage aircraft transactions from LOI through to close and the VP Legal will act as lead negotiator for transactions.Review, draft and negotiate lease agreements, sale agreements, notations, amendments and any ancillary documents.Advise on a wide variety of transaction structuresResearch cross border lease structures.Liaise with internal departments and external counsel to effectively execute transaction closingsManage litigation and repossessions when necessaryCandidates should be qualified to practice law with at least 6 years PQE.Previous experience with commercial aircraft sale, purchase or lease transactions either within an aircraft leasing company or aviation finance practice is a non negotiable requirement.
