Job Summary
CameraMatics are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Accounts Assistant to work in finance from our Waterford office. The successful candidate will work on a high performing team reporting to our Management Accountant. The role includes accounts payable and general ledger accounting.
Core Responsibilities:
* Process invoices from stock and subcontractor suppliers
* Work with suppliers to ensure accounts are up to date and reconciled to statements regularly
* Complete fixed asset and depreciation journals monthly
* Manage fixed asset registers
* Post accruals and prepayments monthly and maintain schedules
* Prepare monthly department spend reports comparing actual to budget
* Post intercompany journals monthly and ensure accounts are reconciled
* Post bank and credit card transactions and maintain schedules
* Other relevant administration duties as required.
Requirements:
* Previous experience within a finance role
* Excellent communications skills/ability to establish and maintain good stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally at all levels.
* Ability to listen to suppliers and negotiate solutions..
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Display willingness to make decisions on own initiative.
* Strong knowledge of Excel and other MS Office applications.
* SAP B1 experience an advantage.
