Job Description
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role with a 4-day onsite requirement. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in supporting the design work for a critical ablation program.

A Day in the Life:
* Complex product design activities
* Perform concept development and prototyping
* Design / develop components to be manufactured via plastic injection molding, stamping, machining, extrusion, and related processes
* Create and interpret analyses to determine suitability of design concepts
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff
* Incorporate risk-based decision-making into the design process
* Apply Six Sigma (DFSS) methodologies to all aspects of the design/development process
* Ensure on-time completion of Design Control deliverables
* Grow and maintain knowledge current with related technologies
* Work with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure feasibility of high-volume assembly
* Translate VoX feedback into product requirements
* Present technical findings or project status to cross-functional teams and management through meeting minutes, design reviews, presentations, and other means of communication
