Talbot Lodge Nursing Home is a well-established, resident-focused nursing home located in Kinsealy, Malahide. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our senior management team.Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing (DON), the ADON will play a key role in supporting the clinical, professional and operational leadership of the nursing service, ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the DON in the day-to-day management of the nursing team and clinical servicesEnsure compliance with HIQA standards, policies, procedures and regulatory requirementsProvide strong clinical leadership and guidance to nursing and care staffAssist with staff supervision, rostering, performance management and trainingPromote a culture of person-centred care, dignity and respectParticipate in audits, quality improvement initiatives and incident managementAct as a senior clinical decision-maker and deputise for the DON as requiredRequirementsRegistered General Nurse (RGN) with active registration on the NMBI registerMinimum of 5 years' post-registration experience, with at least 1 year in a senior or leadership role (CNM/ADON level desirable)Experience working in an older person or long-term care settingStrong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulatory complianceExcellent leadership, communication and organisational skillsProven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamWhat We OfferCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceSupportive management and a positive working environmentOpportunities for professional development and career progressionOn-site parking and convenient location in Malahide/KinsealyIf you are a compassionate and driven nursing leader looking to progress your career in a supportive nursing home environment, we would love to hear from you.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From €60,000.00 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingWork Location: In person
