Group Financial Controller
Our client is seeking a
Group Financial Controller
to join their team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the group accounting function, including technical accounting, consolidation, and reporting. This role ensures the integrity and accuracy of the Group's financial reporting processes and supports the Finance Leadership team, reporting to the CFO. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing a small accounting team in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead all aspects of group accounting operations, including month-end close, consolidations, and annual audit preparation
* Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting across the group
* Oversee the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
* Maintain and enhance internal controls, ensuring compliance with SOX and GAAP requirements
* Partner with the CFO to implement consistent accounting policies across the group
* Manage external reporting obligations, including lender compliance and annual statutory reporting (SEC experience a plus but not essential)
* Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and coordinate audit processes
* Monitor and improve the group's financial systems, ensuring effective use and recommending enhancements as needed
* Mentor and develop a small, high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
About You:
* ACA-qualified (or equivalent) with a relevant degree
* 5+ years of experience in group finance or corporate accounting, preferably within a publicly listed company
* Background in Big Four accounting is highly desirable
* Deep understanding of accounting standards and reporting requirements
* Hands-on experience with financial systems and process automation
* Strong attention to detail with a high level of professionalism and integrity
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
* Proven leadership skills, with a track record of building and developing successful finance teams
