Part-Qualified Accountant Job Opening
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven part-qualified accountant to oversee daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support clients with their accounting needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare timely and precise year-end financial statements and reports for senior review
* Reconcile key accounts, including VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchases, and fixed assets registers with accuracy
* Record and maintain financial transactions in accounting software with precision and consistency
* Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts and performance reports
* Ensure all financial documentation meets compliance standards and internal deadlines
* Support the year-end closing process, including reconciliations and final journal entries
* Assist in preparing and reviewing Corporation Tax returns in line with current legislation
Required Skills and Qualifications: Part-qualified accountant working towards ACA or ACCA designation, minimum of two years' experience working in a professional accounting practice, solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
