Role Purpose Manage regional designated centres and intellectual disability services in line with regulations and resources. Build strong stakeholder relationships and advise on current and future service opportunities. Manage working relationships, including PICs, MDT, HIQA, HSE & TUSLA. Oversee governance, compliance, and workforce planning across centres. Ensure full compliance with HIQA regulations, legislation, and organisational policies. Drive continuous quality improvement through audits, inspections, and action plans. Contribute to strategic management and support organisational development projects. Manage budgets and resources effectively and efficiently in consultation with Finance. Train and develop staff in partnership with HR. Foster strong stakeholder relationships with service owners, families, and funders. Investigate and resolve complaints and service issues in a professional manner. Champion a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across all services. Role Requirements QQI L7/8/9 Qualification in Social Care or equivalent. Management qualification is desirable. 5+ years of management experience in the ID or related sector. Act as PPIM for all services within their remit. Have a proficient working knowledge of the HIQA Standards and Health Act (2007) and associated regulations and guidance; and knowledge of national policies in the disability sector. Excellent leadership and decision-making skills. Hold a full clean driving license and access to a car. Garda Vetting/Police Clearance.
