Job Title: Full-Time Healthcare Assistant
Overview of the Role
This is a permanent position in a community-based setting, requiring weekend availability and up to 39 hours a week.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver personal care and assistance to clients as per their care plan, including toileting, meal preparation, and medication supervision.
* Report significant changes in client condition or perceived lack of resources to line managers.
* Provide unwavering support while respecting client individuality, delivering a service that reflects dignity and respect.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in a related field (e.g. nursing, health sciences)
* Current certification in first aid and CPR
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work effectively in a team environment
