About the Company:
The role is based with a leading manufacturing company in Ireland, which has been in operation for over 70 years and is growing rapidly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and collaborate with bookkeepers to improve finance processes and reporting accuracy.
* Prepare monthly retail management accounts and provide SLT with accurate and timely financial insights.
* Complete month-end and year-end close activities.
* Prepare all journals, accruals, and adjustments and ensure they are properly recorded and documented.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
* Work closely with Retail Business Leaders to support their finance needs and budget process.
* Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models to guide decision-making.
* Analyze financial performance and variances, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
* Provide insights into cost structures and profitability.
* Track and report on key performance indicators.
Cost Control and Optimization:
* Monitor and control costs, ensuring efficiency across operations.
* Evaluate and manage financial risks, recommending cost-saving measures.
