Demand/Supply Planner
Location: Dublin, Ireland (hybrid, 3 days in office)
Job Summary:
We have joined forces with a prestigious brand and global player in the market. Our client designs, produces, distributes, and sells high-end jewels, watches, perfumes, and accessories through a network of over 250 owned stores in the most exclusive shopping areas worldwide, along with selected distributors and more than 10,000 exclusive perfumeries. Based in Dublin, Ireland, their Worldwide Logistic and Supply Chain Centre is seeking a Planner who is motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about data and analytics.
The Demand/Supply Planner is responsible for managing the procurement process to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of packaging and sales support materials necessary for the company's operations. This role involves meticulous planning and strategic foresight to anticipate future demand, identify suppliers, issue purchase orders, and manage the procurement cycle from order placement to delivery, coordinating actions to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze data and market trends to forecast future needs.
2. Develop and manage procurement plans to meet production and business requirements.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
4. Issue purchase orders and manage the procurement cycle.
5. Ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize costs.
6. Monitor and resolve supplier performance issues.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement with business goals.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
9. Identify risks in the supply chain and implement contingency plans.
10. Maintain accurate records and prepare procurement reports.
What do we expect from you?
* University degree required, preferably in Supply Chain or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* 2-3 years of professional experience in planning (supply, manufacturing, inventory, or demand planning).
* Proficiency in data analysis, strong math and problem-solving skills, with excellent knowledge of Excel.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
* Experience working in an SAP environment; knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
