Rail Project Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our Rail Team in Ireland, responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring technical excellence in large-scale rail projects.
The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of management experience, having successfully overseen and delivered numerous major projects and programs within the rail/infrastructure sector. They will hold relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) for project management, Professional Engineer (PE) for engineering, and Certified Cost Professional (CCP) for cost management.
About the Role
This role involves leading the delivery of rail projects in Ireland, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives. Key responsibilities include team organisation, financial management, business management, and business development efforts in the rail sector.
* Project Leadership: Lead the delivery of rail projects in Ireland, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.
* Team Organisation: Organise and lead a high-performing team, overseeing recruitment interviews, resource planning/deployment, staff competency development, mentoring and support.
* Financial Management: Manage budgets, forecast monthly, utilise resources effectively, track work-in-progress, monitor job profitability, and ensure timely invoicing and forecasting.
* Business Management: Ensure quality reviews, implement processes and systems to support successful and compliant project delivery.
* Business Development: Identify new opportunities, prepare bids, engage with potential clients and alliance partners, and drive business growth in the rail sector.
