Senior Health & Safety Advisor – MallowLocation:Mallow, Co. Cork (site-based, with travel to other sites as required)Employment Type:Permanent | Full-TimeAbout Our ClientOur clientis an established construction and retrofit specialist delivering projects across Ireland, including deep retrofit, roofline maintenance, plumbing, and insulation works. They are seeking a highly experiencedSenior Health & Safety Advisorto oversee the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of health, safety, and ISO systems across multiple sites.Role OverviewThe Senior Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO standards, Irish health & safety legislation, and company policies. This role involves close collaboration with subcontractors, suppliers, councils, and site teams to maintain the highest safety standards across diverse projects.ResponsibilitiesOverall planning and implementation of health & safety and ISO systemsKeep systems updated with current legislation and ISO requirementsLiaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure documentation is currentEnsure all training for crews and operatives is up to dateConduct daily site audits and inspections across multiple project types (retrofit, roofline, plumbing, insulation)Monitor key risks including working at heights, public safety, and use of power toolsPrepare and update RAMS, method statements, and health & safety documentation for tenders and projectsLiaise with builders and councils (Cork, Waterford, Limerick, Tipperary, Kerry, Galway, Dublin)Ensure training certificates and method statements are regularly updated for all sitesOversee implementation of standards across sites in Mallow, Kilbarry (Cork City), Dublin, Galway, and in DungarvanCoordinate with external audit companies and manage reporting to the senior H&S functionIdeal Candidate ProfileMinimum 5+ years' experience in a senior health & safety role within construction or retrofit projectsStrong knowledge of ISO systems and Irish health & safety legislationProven experience conducting site audits and managing compliance across multiple locationsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to lead, train, and motivate site teams and subcontractorsFlexibility to travel weekly to Dublin and other depots as requiredExperience in Ireland or the EU is essentialSalary & BenefitsCompetitive remuneration (discussed during interview)Permanent, full-time role with career progression opportunitiesExposure to high-profile council and retrofit projects across IrelandSupportive team environment with strong emphasis on safety cultureIf you possess the required qualifications and experience, and are eager to take on a challenging role as aSenior Health & Safety Advisor ,we encourage you to apply by submitting your CV via the link provided or call Lucas for more information.A strong remuneration package is on offer for the right candidate.If this position isn't for you but you would like to discuss our other vacancies, feel free to get in touch or to suggest a colleague for the position as we have an attractive referral policy.
