About the Role
You will be working as an IT Infrastructure Lead in the public sector, reporting to the Infrastructure Manager. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day operational IT infrastructure and services, as well as collaborating on transitioning new or enhanced services from projects into operations.

Main Responsibilities:
* Implement and maintain applications and infrastructure, including hardware, networks, data centres, and disaster recovery.
* Lead planning and management of technical OT projects to renew and update underlying OT infrastructure.
* Implement robust security standards to safeguard systems.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Experience in IT or OT infrastructure operations and management.
* Relevant third-level qualification or accreditation are desirable.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in public sector or utilities or similar industries.
* People management experience: strong skills in managing, mentoring, and developing teams.
* Change management and conflict resolution skills: proven ability to handle change and resolve conflicts effectively.
* Technical coaching experience: ability to develop technical skills and abilities in others.
* High motivation and professional standards: proven track record of delivering results.
* Strong analytical skills: ability to identify, analyse, and solve problems, and propose improvements.
* Adaptability: ability to change focus and direction in line with business strategy and requirements.
* Proactive improvement: identifying new areas for improvement and applying new knowledge and skills on the job.
* Compliance and security: ensuring cybersecurity compliance and implementing robust security measures.
