Commercial Insurance Account Handler Location: Galway/Mayo Our client, an established Irish owned brokerage with offices in the West of Ireland and Dublin is growing and looking to add an insurance professional to take ownership of their own portfolio of SME clients. This role can be worked from the Galway or Castlebar office and offers hybrid after probation. The Role As a Commercial Account Handler, you'll manage and service a portfolio of SME clients, becoming their trusted advisor for all things insurance while ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience. What You'll Be Doing * Building strong, lasting client relationships as their go-to contact * Managing renewals, mid-term adjustments (MTAs), endorsements and policy changes * Negotiating with insurers to secure the best terms and coverage * Ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards * Keeping accurate records across all systems What We're Looking For * 1+ years experience working with SME/commercial risks * Strong knowledge of the Irish insurance market * Min APA in Commercial Insurance (essential) * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence What Sets You Apart You're proactive, detail-driven, and genuinely enjoy helping clients find the right solutions.
