Tarstone Road Maintenance is seeking a part time HR Manager to support our continued growth. In this role, prepare to play a pivotal part in shaping and contributing to the evolution of our business and company culture. As we build and scale to meet evolving needs, you'll have the opportunity to drive meaningful impact, working closely with our senior leadership team.

**Responsibilities**

* Evaluate company-wide human resource requirements and set up an efficient HR operation function within the business.
* Work with Senior Leadership to secure the optimum level of talent and skills within the business on an ongoing basis.
* Work with Senior Leadership to continue developing a safe, innovation-led people culture and environment.
* Propose and create an appropriate delivery model to embed this culture and how we lead and manage our people into the future.
* Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to drive and execute successful delivery of all HR programs including performance management, career development plans, staff planning & budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Coach and advise managers on complex HR matters including sensitive employee relations issues.
* Operate as an expert to the business on employee relations and employment disputes.
* Demonstrate a strong ability to collaborate with all internal teams with a one team approach
* Serve as a point of contact for employees; helping them navigate issues that impact their work and career growth
* Lead day-to-day activities related to HR policies, processes, and programs specific to Tarstone, including some ad hoc business requirements

**Change Management**

* Experience in leading and managing organisational change and restructuring efforts.
* Adaptability and the ability to guide employees through transitions.

**Communication and Interpersonal Skills**

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organisation.
* The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
* Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

**The Person**.

* You have proven experience working as a HR Manager, preferably within the construction sector.
* You have a can-do, practical and collaborative approach and are not easily ruffled. You have presence and are confident in your role and experience.
* You are innovative and have a positive mind-set.
* You are frank and sincere and communicate with clarity.

**What Will You Need**

* Minimum of 3+ years working experience at HR Manager level
* Experience within a busy SME environment is crucial – if you have grown and developed the HR function within this environment this would be an advantage.
* Deep understanding of HR processes, especially hands-on experience in people culture, performance management and employee relations
* Deep understanding of Irish labour laws
* Incredibly business savvy; can quickly develop the business sense to offer relevant HR solutions
* Assertive and practical; can overcome resistance and effectively manage change
* Fast-paced and action-oriented; can comfortably operate in ambiguity with minimal guidance
* A positive can-do attitude; can navigate through the challenges and find solutions

**Salary**

From €45000, pro-rata DOE per annum

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From €45,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
