Postdoctoral Microbiome Researcher Position Summary
The Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Microbiome Researcher to lead and coordinate microbiome research activities across three large, multi-site human cohorts in Europe.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Coordinate sample and metadata management
• Develop and maintain analysis pipelines
• Troubleshoot analytical and technical issues
• Provide methodological advice to consortium partners
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
We require an experienced candidate with strong expertise in human cohort studies, microbiome sequencing technologies (e.g., 16S, shotgun metagenomics), and advanced data analysis including statistical modelling, multi-omic integration and reproducible computational pipelines. The successful candidate will also contribute to strategic development of the research programme through grant writing, preparation of funding applications, and identification of new collaborative opportunities.
