Excel Recruitment is currently hiring an experienced Social Care Worker for day-service within a warm, community-based setting.
This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, empowering adults living with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health needs to engage meaningfully in their community and achieve their personal goals.
As a Social Care Worker, you will support service users in all aspects of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation and overall wellbeing, while playing an active role in developing and implementing person-centred care plans with a strong focus on community inclusion.
Working Hours Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 4:00pm Friday: 8:30am - 3:00pm Contract type: Temporary on-going What's on Offer Monday-Friday day hours only Weekly pay in line with HSE pay scales Supportive team environment with qualified professionals Valuable experience within a respected community service Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, person-centred care while promoting dignity and independence Support service users in daily activities and community participation Assist with personal care, meals and physical wellbeing Work collaboratively within a professional care team Promote the physical, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual wellbeing of each individual Requirements Eligible to work in Ireland (EU passport or valid IRP) QQI Level 7 in Social Care, BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent CORU registration Knowledge of HIQA standards If you're a passionate Social Care Worker looking for a rewarding day-service role in Raheny, we'd love to hear from you.
