Job Description
Job Title: HGV Mechanic
Location: Dock Road, Limerick V94HD7A
Hours: 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
The HGV Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles/coaches, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring the proper functioning and safety of equipment. The HGV Mechanic will also collaborate with team members to identify and implement efficiency improvements and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a HGV mechanic or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of automotive systems, machinery, and equipment.
* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
* Experience with repair and maintenance procedures.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
* Technical degree or certification in mechanics or a related field is a plus.
