As a seasoned Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of mechanical systems critical to the facility's operation. Your hands-on approach, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently will be essential in maintaining uptime and equipment reliability.
You will perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on heavy plant, power, and mechanical systems, diagnose and resolve mechanical faults efficiently, and coordinate with internal teams and third-party service providers.
Your responsibilities will also include updating logs, records, and safety documentation, supporting new equipment commissioning and maintenance planning, and actively contributing to continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
Key Requirements:
* Commercial Gas Installations (preferably High-Pressure Systems)
* Power Generation & Backup Systems
* Heavy Plant and Generator Operations
* Industrial or Data Centre environments OR 2–4 years' relevant Marine Engineering experience
Desirable Qualifications:
* A trade qualification in mechanical/building services or An engineering degree/diploma with 2–3 years' maintenance experience

* Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
* Ability to read technical/mechanical drawings
* IT literate and comfortable with maintenance planning systems
