A Global semiconductor giant based in Cork are seeking to bolster their team with a talented Security Software Engineer.
Please note this opportunity is based on-site in Cork and requires rights to work in Ireland already in place before starting.
Responsibilities:
* Develop security-focused software solutions across all layers of device architecture, including user space and kernel space.
* Debug software in diverse operating environments and directly on hardware platforms.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team to design and implement QTI security features.
* Work closely with internal teams and provide support to external customers when required.
* Operate fully onsite in the Cork office to ensure tight integration with engineering and security teams.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 0–7 years of relevant experience.
* Strong C programming abilities, with a focus on secure coding practices.
* Solid understanding of embedded hardware, drivers, computer architecture, and operating system fundamentals (tasks, timers, memory management, etc.).
* Proficiency with JTAG-enabled devices and debuggers, with strong hardware–software debugging skills.
* Advantageous experience in areas such as cryptography, secure protocols, ARM or RISC-V development, MSM/AMSS, on-chip simulators/emulators, and ARM TrustZone.
