About Our Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Site Manager to oversee the construction of new builds and fit-outs. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience in managing residential projects, with strong IT skills and ability to effectively manage site programmes and associated schedules to required deadlines.
The Role
* Coordination and supervision of the construction of new builds and fit-outs.
* Oversight of all site activities and management of manpower on site including direct staff, trades, and subcontractors.
* Hosting meetings with architects, design teams, site crews, and senior management to update them on project progress.
* Leading weekly toolbox talks and whiteboard meetings.
* Updating the site diary.
* Reading and interpreting drawings to ensure works completed are accurate.
* Supervision of works on site and ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance.
* Planning and coordinating daily site requirements, labour, materials ordering, and meeting deadlines.
* Ensuring company compliance, health and safety, and administration procedures, and recording performance and progress of site operations.
Requirements
* A degree in construction management or similar trade qualifications.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience managing residential projects with a main contractor/developer in Ireland.
* Strong Microsoft suite skills, including Project.
