Qualified Motor Technician Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Motor Technician to join our Volkswagen service team in Kilkenny.
The ideal candidate will be capable of producing quality work in a busy environment, with excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to work on own initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service & repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and dealership standards.
* Perform work as outlined on the job card with efficiency and accuracy.
* Use diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach to diagnose and rectify vehicle faults.
* Examine the vehicle and perform vehicle health checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
* Maintain a clean and neat workspace and adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
Requirements:
* Qualified Motor Technician qualification.
* Ability to work on own initiative and be a good team player.
* Good communication skills and the ability to identify and explain additional work required.
* Be diligent, with a flexible approach to work.
* Full Clean Irish or EU Driving License.
