Business Analytics Lecturer Position Overview
NCI is seeking a qualified lecturer to contribute to the academic excellence and strategic development of the institution by delivering high-quality teaching in business analytics. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the institution's reputation and supporting its ongoing growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality teaching in Business Analytics across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the institution.
* Design, prepare, and deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, and other learning activities in line with institutional policies and quality standards.
* Provide timely and constructive formative and summative feedback to students.
* Supervise student research projects and dissertations at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
* Support and supervise students on work placements and internships.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A full level 8 honours degree in Economics, Finance, Business Analytics or related field.
* Industry or professional experience in finance, analytics or data-informed business roles is desirable.
* Demonstrated experience in lecturing at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including curriculum delivery, assessment, and student support.
* Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, Python, Power BI) is strongly preferred.
Benefits:
* Annual leave: 34 days per annum pro rata.
* Contract: Permanent post.
* Salary: Academic II - €53,836- €82,374.
Other Opportunities:
* Act as Programme Director for designated undergraduate or postgraduate programmes.
* Contribute to the design, development, and review of new and existing programmes.
