Overview A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Automation Project Manager to support a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
The role focuses on delivering automation projects that support operational continuity, capacity growth, and compliance within a sterile production environment.
Key Responsibilities Lead automation projects from initiation to close-out.
Define scope, plans, budgets, and risk controls.
Manage project execution, resources, and external suppliers.
Ensure compliance with GMP, data integrity, and engineering standards.
Oversee change controls and maintain validated system states.
Provide clear project reporting to stakeholders.
Work closely with engineering, operations, quality, and validation teams.
Requirements8+ years' engineering experience in regulated manufacturing.
Experience within sterile or aseptic operations preferred.
Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Proactive, quality- and safety-focused approach.
